the dead thing i found that started it all.

more from my weaving class. i found a dead something or another on a walk to the bar one night. the kind that bites it's own tail to close. so i thought it would be funny to make one that resembled my animal. eventually he too will bite his tail.

this is the square pattern i followed for the quilt. when i was small i used to think it was a dragon/dinosaur.

second quilt. dyed backing fabric and grey on front, the rest is old jeans. the pattern comes from a drawing my mom did that i grew up spending hours looking at.

i'm taking a weaving class and loving it. this piece is about 12" wide by 8ish" long.

this years valentine.
it makes me laugh and thats what's important.

now i don't know which way i want it to go.


when you can't print, dye fabric. dye fabric and sew.
as soon as i can find a bigger white wall i plan to get a better picture. a white wall and digital camera.
been messing around with cutting up old jeans and turning print ideas into quilts. the second ones almost done.
